Valparaiso University Admissions

Valparaiso University Description:

Valparaiso University, often called Valpo, is a small private university located an hour southeast of Chicago near Lake Michigan in Indiana. Valpo is affiliated with the Lutheran church. Professional programs such as nursing, business and engineering are most popular among undergraduates, but the college's strengths in the liberal arts and sciences earned it a chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. The school has a 13 to 1 student / faculty ratio and offers good grant aid. In athletics, the Valparaiso Crusaders compete in the NCAA Division I Missouri Valley Conference.
